Happy Mother's Day

I got to sleep in this morning and I told everyone I would get up at 9. At 8:55 Kenzie and Kenna were at my bedside eager for me to open their gifts. I am working tomorrow so today was my mothers day.
I opened Kenzie's first. Inside I found a page of reasons my mom is special. Just a couple of my favorites were; My mom is as pretty as... a flower. My Mom is smart she even knows...how to take staples out of someones head.
Yep I am those things. I also got a card and a Kindergaten cookin book. Kenzie's recipe was chocolate cake. Here is what she wrote. 1. Get a bowl and put in 3 eggs. 2. Put in 1 cup of oil. 3. Mix it up with 2 cups of flour. 4. Then put it in the oven-it's a little hot. 5.Take it out of the oven and put chocolate on it. 6. That's all. Sounds good to me!!!

Kenna had fashioned a very colorful paper sack she decorated. Inside I found a picture frame she had colored that will stick to the fridge, a beautiful picture she colored for 3 weeks, a paper sack puppet, A tile that says "Mothers are Angels in disguise" and a note thanking me for buying her clothes and putting up the pool each year. ( I told her we just got it last year and so it had not been years yet since it is not yet up, I think she was wishful thinking)

KayLee and I went to a Activity Day activity at the church at 1. We played fun games and she painted my toes. She then gave me some fugde!!

We just got home from my Mothers Day Dinner at the Santaqueen. Cook Richard made a wonderful chicken sandwich for me.

Boy am I lucky to have such great kids!!!

April really DID happen

I don't know how it is already the 10th of May but it is. I know you are all very disappointed in my blogging but I have been busy!!! I have been working 120 hours a pay period since January and I am now very burnt out. I am now trying to stay home on my days off and only work my scheduled 40 hours a week.

Alright, on April 11th after working 12 hours we drove down to Cedar City. We spent the night at Brett and Triessa's. The next morning we had a baby shower for Linsay. Kortny was at her day date for Prom so she asked us to watch Taylie. (Taylie likes me!!) She is such a good baby. She only cried when I left her with Grump, so I could go to dinner with all the Girls.

That night we went over to Kortny's house to take pictures of her and her date for Prom. She looked just like a Barbie.

We spent the night again with Brett and Tress since so the whole Hepworth clan was in town. We got to keep Taylie too. It is so much fun playing Grandma or Grum as I am called.(Grump and Grum)

Brett blessed baby Whitni the next day. We all gathered after for a meal at Sizzler.

Richard's most favorite time that day was pictures at SUU. He is always so pleasant during pictures. I did not like the fat mom in the pics so there are none for you to see!

I worked Monday and Tuesday but the kids were off the whole week for spring break.
Wednesday we headed up to Logan. I was so tired that I slept most of the 3 days we were there. We did make a trip to the Willow park Zoo, the Dollar store with cousin Olivia.
